His nickname is gulbaba.(This is his real nickname. Means the father of roses. because in traditional way, first rose figure made by him.)

ABAUT TURKISH MARBLING
Turkish traditional marbling is a an antient art, more than 1100 years.
Most of works are non-figuratif (except flowers)
Arists still uses non-fabric meterials and prepare all the meterias theirself(hand made).
Brushes from rose branches.
Colors from earth pigments. All colors are hand preperared and used afer waiting 6 months or more. And a traditional marbler never uses acrilic or water colors.(respect to tradition) Sometimes they filter sand or clay and use as color.
"Öd" from animals(cows or sword fish.)
Kitre, (a plants fluid.)
